This was an exciting on site activation located in the main terminal of the San Francisco Airport. Leveraging client direction and the project’s requirements, we developed a fine-tuned design incorporating material choices, fabrication, and form factor considerations. Form Factor defines the physical size, shape, and layout of a device or component, ensuring compatibility for integration into a larger system. Key aspects include dimensions, mounting points, and connections, which dictate if a component will fit and function correctly with other parts and in the environment in which it lives.

“There is no place like home.” – Dorothy

The purpose of this activation was to promote and educate SFO travelers about the Nest family of products. They represent the target market for smart home solutions as they are usually tech savvy and connected via their smart phones. Fabricated in Portland and shipped to SFO, we installed this display in less than 12 hours during off peak hours. The result was a stunning eye catching moment for travelers to enjoy and interact while they awaited boarding and take off.
